Boutari Company cares, contributes and supports!
Boutari was one of the first companies to participate in reviving this institution, and placed great importance on the role it could play as a socially responsible company. Sponsorship opportunities are always a key part of communication and advertising, but they are mainly a way to make a joint offer and contribution.
Through its sponsorship activities, as well as its actions, the Boutari company wishes to support activities contributing to science, art, culture, ecology, education and sports. Its sponsorship actions have been awarded many times by the Association for the Support of Cultural Activities (OMEPO).
Boutari for the Arts

As part of the sponsorship programme "Boutari for the Arts", the company has been an advocate of great activities promoting culture and the arts, and has supported many important organisations. The Macedonian Centre of Modern Art (as Benefactor); the International Outlook Exhibition; the Thessaloniki Film Festival; the International Art Athina Exhibition; the Biennale Exhibition; the Thessaloniki Concert Hall; and the Badminton Theatre in Athens, are just some of the organisations the company has supported up until today.
Boutari for People      

With a belief in the importance of the human element, the Boutari company periodically supports institutions and organisations such as: the Greek Cerebral Palsy Society, the Greek Cancer Society, ELEPAP (Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Disabled, the STORGI Institute, and MDA Hellas, amongst others. The company's contribution to aid the tsunami victims of South-Eastern Asia in January 2005 was also significant.
Educational Initiatives

For some years now, in an attempt to increase the public's contact with Greek wine, and to transfer its extensive knowledge, Boutari has offered free guided tours of their estates and visits to their wineries to schools and Open Care Centres for the Elderly (KAPIs). Each year, more than 5,000 people from schools and KAPIs visit the visitor facilities of the company's wineries.
Furthermore, in order to educate and inform the public about wine, the company has created various schemes, including: creating a Professional Gastronomy Club; creating an educational CD "Wine and its Secrets"; publishing the educational "Introduction to the World of Wine"; and contributing "The Santorini of Santorini" to the poetry collection "Wine and Poetry".
